The aim of Leadboilers is to stage a community-run event in the village to bring residents of the Colne Valley together, celebrating “all things Linthwaite”.
We embrace the history of the Leadboilers folklore, using it create a unique identity for Linthwaite and fostering pride in our local area.
Leadboilers strives to be inclusive of the whole community, showcasing the best in local music, arts, sports and children’s activities, providing entertainment for all.
Always free to attend – due to the dedicated unpaid work of our volunteers and financial support from our various sponsor partners – Leadboilers is a true community event. By the community, for the community.
The Leadboilers team ensures the event is run safely, complying with all relevant legislation and is fully-insured.
As well as providing a fun-filled day, we also support neighbourhood charities by collecting non-perishable food in our cauldron, distributing it via local food banks.
So please, if you attend and enjoy Leadboilers, drop a couple of tins into the cauldron.
